Today I am grateful for heartbeats
I am grateful for the heartbeat of Katie Zengel that continues to beat on in the life she saved.
I am grateful for the heartbeats of mothers who have lost children that continue to help others battle the same demon that took their child.
I am grateful for my father’s heart that beat steadily for 65 years and continues to beat on in the lives he touched.
I am grateful for a dear friend, Cherie Bilby Monarch’s heart that continues to beat after surviving two open-heart surgeries and whose heart is the most generous I know.
I am grateful for my grandpa Moss’ heart that stopped beating on Feb, 3rd 1945, as he fought for our freedom during WWII.
I am grateful for the heartbeats of my pioneer ancestors that sacrificed all for religious freedom.
I am grateful for my grandpa Nield’s heart that continued to beat after he was shot at the last battle for Iwo Jima on March 16th, 1945.
I am grateful for the heartbeats of those who struggle with mental health, who choose to continue to let their heart beat while they wait for healing.
I am grateful for the heartbeats of my husband and daughter who love me through all the trials life throws our way.
There are so many heartbeats I am grateful for. My grandparents taught me so much about living life to the fullest. Friends who are there no matter what. Dog’s heartbeats that beat with unconditional love for all.

I am eternally grateful for the hearts that have touched mine through the years. One thing each heart has taught me — we’re only given so many beats and each beat is a gift. #GiveThanks
